Welcome to GateKey, a secure and scalable payment gateway platform designed exclusively for registered businesses and commercial entities. By using GateKey, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

   By registering for a GateKey merchant account or accessing the platform, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, GateKey’s Privacy Policy, and any other applicable agreements. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use our services.
   
   

2. Eligibility and Merchant Onboarding

   GateKey is intended exclusively for businesses and CR (Commercial Registration) holders operating within the Sultanate of Oman. During onboarding, merchants are required to submit a completed Know Your Customer (KYC) form and the following documentation, in line with the Central Bank of Oman’s regulations:

   • Valid National ID or Resident Card of owners/partners

   • Commercial Registration (CR) and applicable business licenses

   • Proof of business address

   • Omani bank account in the merchant’s name

   • Anticipated monthly transaction volume

   • Description of business activities

   GateKey reserves the right to verify and approve all submitted information and may perform background checks to ensure compliance with national regulations and prevent fraudulent activity.
   
   

3. Use of Services

   GateKey is designed to process legitimate payment transactions for approved business purposes only. Merchants agree not to use the platform for:

   • Illicit, deceptive, or unlicensed business activities

   • Selling counterfeit, prohibited, or restricted goods

   • Violating any applicable laws or regulatory directives

   Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of transaction data and compliance with applicable tax and invoicing laws.
   
   

4. Transaction Limits and Fees

   GateKey may impose transaction limitations or thresholds for security and compliance reasons.
   Fees apply as per the signed merchant agreement. Any applicable fees will be disclosed in advance as part of the contractual terms. GateKey does not impose hidden charges, though third-party banking or processor fees may apply.
   
   

5. Security and Compliance

   GateKey is fully PCI DSS compliant and implements robust encryption, tokenization, and access controls to protect sensitive data. Merchants must adhere to all integration and security standards outlined during onboarding and are responsible for maintaining the security of their access credentials.

   GateKey reserves the right to audit merchant systems or suspend access in cases of security breaches or suspicious activity.
   
   

6. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks

   Merchants encountering transaction errors, chargebacks, or settlement issues must contact GateKey Customer Support at support@gatekey.com. GateKey will investigate all cases in accordance with applicable financial regulations. However, GateKey is not liable for disputes between merchants and their customers or with third-party providers.
   
   

7. Termination of Service

   GateKey reserves the right to suspend or terminate any merchant account at its sole discretion, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, non-compliance with CBO requirements, or security threats. Merchants may also request account termination by contacting Support.
   
   

8. Changes to the Terms

   GateKey may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect regulatory updates or business process changes. Merchants will be notified of significant updates through email or via the platform. Continued use of GateKey constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
   
   

9. Governing Law

   These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. All disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Omani courts.
